Under the weather

I'm in bed today with the flu. 

Thankfully I'm only halfway through the amazing book A Discovery Of Witches, 

so that will keep me busy today.

The Carrie Diaries TV-series is finally here!

It is (of course) based on the books by Candace Bushnell. 

The year is 1984 and Carries mother has just passed away, leaving her father alone with 15 year old Carrie and her younger sister, Dorrit.

This is when Carrie starts asking her first questions about love, sex, friendship and family 

whilst trying to find her own way in high school and Manhattan.

Those of you who, like me, have a thing for 

the eighties, High School movies/series and (need I even say it?) SATC will surely enjoy it.
